Description
The Drum Beats For Ti-Tika and Tika-Ti game is an active and fun elementary music activity for reinforcing beamed 8th and 16th-note rhythm combinations. It’s available for Google Slides and PowerPoint in Standard and Kodály friendly Stick Notation!
This is one of my favorite go-to activities for the whole class! I use it as a review at the end of the period, and students exit on a happy note.
This game requires listening to a pattern to see if it matches the rhythm assigned to each student. The fun part is changing seats with classmates. My students LOVE this game, and there is no winner so that it can be played for any length of time.
